MINI is one of the first car manufacturers to offer proactive and preventive services. MINI Proactive Care means taking action before it becomes necessary. To achieve this, precise sensors evaluate real-time data and automatically detect any service and repair needs for your MINI. You will be contacted by MINI should any irregularities be detected. Please note that the scope of maintenance work offered by MINI Proactive Care may vary from country to country.

We need your current details to ensure we can get in touch with you if necessary so you get to benefit from all the advantages of MINI Proactive Care. Please also make sure that you have consented to our use of your data and that your MINI is registered to your MINI Connected account. This is the only way we can offer you comprehensive and tailored support in the event you require a service. 

Condition Based Service is part of MINI Proactive Care. It is therefore a key element of our MINI service pledge to you, to detect function failures and maintenance requirements with your MINI at an early stage. At MINI, maintenance is not routinely performed at fixed intervals but is based on actual vehicle usage. The Condition Based Service monitors the condition of components for wear as well as fluid quality through sensors and specific algorithms. When the vehicle is new, it will display a theoretical first service date which will be revised as you use the vehicle. This means you will only be alerted when a service is required. 

MINI Connected is a suite of intelligent functions, apps and services that connects you and your passengers to your MINI, linking you up securely and seamlessly with your world around you. It helps make your everyday life more convenient. And makes driving safer – and more fun.
The MINI App is your companion for a vast set of relevant vehicle features and functionalities. It connects you with your MINI and gives you instant access to your MINI’s status. You can see when your next service is due as well as, check your electric range and charging status, and even use the MINI App as a Digital Key. Remote services let you search for your vehicle in say, a big car park, lock/unlock doors and adjust climate control remotely. It also gives you direct access to your MINI Service Centre.
The windscreen is a key factor in the vehicle’s overall rigidity, functionality and safety. After replacing the windscreen, it is necessary to recalibrate the sensors, cameras and head-up display. In order to do this, the MINI Certified Technicians use MINI specific tools which they are specially trained to use. This perfect calibration is essential to ensure that your vehicle’s safety systems and the automatic windscreen wipers function correctly.
Yes, through Remote Software Upgrades, your MINI receives quality improvements and, depending on the country of delivery, model and equipment, new functions or functional improvements free of charge and over the air. Once a Remote Software Upgrade is available for your vehicle, you will receive a notification via the MINI App on your smartphone and in the central instrument (“MINI Interaction Unit”) of your vehicle.
