Accessibility Statement.

MINI AG (hereinafter referred to as “MINI”) designs its website to be accessible in accordance with the provisions of the ”Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz des Bundes (BFSG)”. This accessibility statement applies to the offer on the www.mini.com.mt website.

In particular, the BFSG obliges service providers among other things to design e-commerce services so that they are accessible and usable for people with disabilities in the usual way, without particular difficulty and, in principle, without external help. These requirements have been specified in more detail in the “Verordnung zum Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSGV)“, according to which state-of-the-art technology must always be observed. In addition to the technical requirements, the legal regulations oblige service providers to make certain information available in an accessible form.

MINI offers various e-commerce services (hereinafter referred to as “services”) on its website that enable customers to purchase products and services online. The available services have been described below.

Online content that is not part of the described services may not (yet) be completely accessible.

MINI Connected Drive.

Customers are provided with digital services for their vehicle in the MINI Online Store for MINI ConnectedDrive. They can add services for a vehicle they already own and purchase them online. The services offered depend on the customer's vehicle and may vary. A MINI ID is required and the vehicle must be linked to the MINI ID. 

Test Drive.

Customers can book a test drive in a vehicle of a desired model series using Booking a Test Drive by entering their personal data and by selecting the desired date and time as well as the MINI Partner at which they want to go on this test drive. A MINI ID is required to book a test drive.

Compliance with Accessibility Requirements.

MINI AG endeavors to make its website accessible in a variety of ways and to prepare it for the use of assistive technologies. For this purpose, the development of the websites complies with the technical standards of European standard EN 301 549 and the success criteria of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 referenced therein at conformity levels A and AA.

The relevant subpages of the website also provide the information required in accordance with BFSG in an accessible manner.
