To achieve maximum go-kart feeling, we applied key design criteria when developing the all-electric MINI Cooper. We enhanced driving dynamics

for instance thanks to the low centre-of-gravity due to the battery placement. We achieve thrilling MINI handling by optimising weight distribution and using a direct steering ratio coupled with a small steering wheel. We boost lateral dynamics and grip by optimising tyre

width. And latest hardware and software enabled us to make handling even more playful and thrilling especially in the Go-Kart Mode.

EXCELLENT AERODYNAMICS.

The all-electric MINI Cooper was designed from the start to manage aerodynamic forces in the most efficient way possible. With its fully closed underbody and grille as well as its smooth, minimalistic exterior, we’d already considerably reduced drag. All MINI wheels are optimised for better aerodynamics, too. With such low wind resistance, it’s extremely efficient, so you can drive even further without needing to recharge.

WE’VE GOT YOUR BACK – AND FRONT.

We’ve taken the hassle out of driving in the city. Heavy traffic is a breeze – all you have to do is set the Active Cruise Control as of option Driving Assistant Plus and your MINI will automatically follow the vehicle in front of you at a safe distance. And Parking Assistant, that comes as standard, identifies all potential parking spots for you, and then flawlessly manoeuvres into the one you select at the press of a button.

Maximum fun needs maximum safety. The all-electric MINI Cooper is equipped with innovative features that create a safer driving environment for you and other road users. The Active Cruise Control regulates the distance to the vehicle in front and is constantly scanning the road to identify potentially dangerous situations. Lane Change Warning will warn you if you veer out of your lane. If your MINI senses a possible collision at the rear, it will activate the hazard lights at double frequency. And the Dynamic Cruise Control keeps you MINI on constant speed four you.
