DRIVING ASSISTANT PLUS & PROFESSIONAL.

Enjoy enhanced safety and comfort with partly automated support. The camera- and radar-based Driving Assistant Professional includes Driving Assistant and Driving Assistant Plus with extended steering and lane guidance, lane change assist, active side collision protection, and an emergency stop assistant. Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go supports relaxed driving up to 210 km/h. Availability depends on regulations; the driver remains responsible.

PARKING ASSISTANT PROFESSIONAL.

Parking Assistant Professional enhances Parking Assistant Plus with smart comfort features. Via the MINI App, your MINI parks automatically in tight spaces using remote parking, curbs and markings are detected for precise alignment. You can save and recall parking maneuvers, and the reversing assistant can record and repeat routes up to 200 meters. Availability varies by model and country.

Your MINI keeps you safe and confident on every drive. Standard advanced active safety systems and Driving Assistant monitor hazards and provide visual and audible alerts – whether changing lanes, reversing, or opening a door – so you can enjoy the road with peace of mind.

LANE CHANGE WARNING.

Monitors your MINI’s blind spots and the adjacent lane. If a vehicle is detected during a lane change, the system alerts you with a flashing LED in the exterior mirror and a steering‑wheel vibration. If you continue drifting toward the lane marking, a brief steering intervention helps guide the car back into its lane. You can override the intervention at any time.

LANE DEPARTURE WARNING.

Alerts you with a steering‑wheel vibration when you drift toward the lane markings without indicating. If there is enough space, a brief steering intervention helps guide the vehicle back toward the center of the lane. A blinking symbol appears in the instrument cluster. You can override the steering input at any time, and repeated interventions trigger a “keep in lane” message.

FRONT COLLISION WARNING.

Helps prevent accidents by detecting moving and stationary objects ahead. The system warns you of a potential collision and, if needed, prepares the brakes to shorten stopping distance. If you don’t react, the vehicle can automatically apply the brakes – up to a full stop, depending on the situation – to help avoid or reduce an impact.

CROSSING TRAFFIC WARNING.

Supports you when slowly entering cross traffic with poor visibility. The system monitors the vehicle’s sides and warns you if approaching vehicles or cyclists are detected. If you don’t react while reversing, it can automatically apply emergency braking to help avoid a collision.

EXIT WARNING.

Monitors the area next to the vehicle for approaching traffic. If a vehicle or cyclist is coming, mirror LEDs and ambient light warn the driver or front passenger before opening the door. An acoustic warning can also sound.

REAR COLLISION WARNING.

Monitors the traffic behind your vehicle. If a fast‑approaching vehicle poses a risk, the system can activate the hazard lights to warn others. If a collision is imminent, the pre‑crash system prepares the car by tightening seat belts and closing windows. The function works automatically at all speeds.
